While I voted to elect this President in the name of change, no change has occured.
I do not regret my vote. I say that not to protect my pride, but the other choice  seemed to be worse at the time.

It is, however, possible that maybe it would not have been worse. Try as they might, Government cannot fix all things. Some things just have to run their coarse.

Now, If God is going to change our nation, I really do not want get in his way (as if I could).

So my family decided to forget about “health care reform”, the big Pharmaceutical Companies (actually the whole medical industry), economic problems and pretty much everything else, and we went camping.

I try to give my wife “time off”, just like I get time off from my work. I am not bragging here, but you other husbands ought to consider showing such acts of kindness.

My wife does not spend her time “texting” people, running in four directions for various projects and activities for the kids, spending frivolous money on the latest trendy fad like tatoos, piercings in various places, and mobile devices.

I learned, while camping, that my kids know a lot of campfire songs that I have never heard. When they ran out of those, they started making new ones. Because it was cold and wet, all the kids where singing “Keep the Fire Burnin” by REO Speedwagon, and therefore it became a campfire song.

I also learned that a couple of them like to swim in the rain. It goes like this: change into a swimsuit, swim, run and stand by the fire with your towel, change back into your dry clothes, then repeat this process after 40 minutes have passed.

Although we didnt stay the second night (because everything was wet and it was still raining), two of my sons caught some nice fish.
